Wholesale buyer questions

Orders

What is the minimum order? One 20ft container. Smaller orders are possible when the volume (CBM) is reasonable.

Can I mix designs in one container? Yes. Any catalogue designs, in teak or mahogany, can share one 20ft container.

Can I ship less than a full container? Yes, as a half container or LCL when you combine your goods with other suppliers.

What lead time should I plan for? Roughly four to six weeks to build each 20ft container.

Wood

Which woods do you use? Teak (Grade A and Grade B) and mahogany. No other woods.

What is the difference between Grade A and Grade B teak? In the trade, Grade A is mostly heartwood with an even colour; Grade B has some lighter sapwood and more colour variation. See the wood comparison guide.

Is the timber dried? Yes. It is kiln-dried to below 10% moisture.

Payment and shipping

How do I pay? Single container: payment terms confirmed with your quote. Several containers: 30% deposit on the whole order; the balance for each container is due once you have signed off its QC, ahead of loading.

When do I get the documents? The original bill of lading or telex release is sent after payment.

Which port and Incoterm? FOB Semarang (Tanjung Emas).

Do you send samples? Confirmed with your quote.

Legality and EU rules

Is your timber legal? Yes. We are SVLK certified through a group certification, and every export shipment has a V-Legal document, or a FLEGT licence for the EU and UK.

Can you support EUDR for EU orders? Timber supplier records: yes. Forest GPS or plot data: no. Your importer decides whether that is enough for its due diligence.
